Quite a beast of an engine. Weighs a ton! This engine has lots of issues and has been looked at by lots of people.
Alignment problems between cylinder and the rest of the engine. Runs just about. Crankshaft resembles a banana! Flywheel full of chips and knocks. Suspect at some stage it was dropped and flywheel and crankshaft hit the ground first!
Jobs to date:
1. Strip down and clean
2. Paint base after removing casting remnants
3. Repair knocks in sole plate and paint
4. Order replacement flywheel casting from Stuart
5. Order drawings from Stuart
